As the web continues to explode around us, we are constantly introduced to new sites, software and services that can help us in many ways. When you are earning money online, any program or website that can help you accomplish tasks quicker or more professionally are worth taking a look at.
There is a trend for some internet developers to develop amazing free apps that have some sort of upsell. Two great examples of this are Dropbox and Evernote. The former is for file sharing, and the latter is for keeping notes. These services both offer free versions but they were so great I pay for the professional versions.
With the success of these sites, and other Web 2.0 sites, there is a real rush of people dropping free online tools that will help you a lot.
